Privacy e cookie.

How this site handles visitors' data, which cookies it uses and how you can change your mind whenever you like. The only form is the one to request a gig; there are no accounts.

When you visit the site

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., United States). When you open a page, GitHub's servers record your IP address and the technical details of the request, for the security and operation of the service. The site does not read or use this data. GitHub processes it under its privacy statement; the transfer to the United States takes place with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

The site doesn't need cookies to work. Two things, though, come from others, and start only if you accept them in the box that appears on your first visit: the music platforms' players and the Meta pixel.

You haven't chosen yet: the players start when clicked and the pixel is off.

To remember what you chose, I save a piece of information in your browser. It isn't a cookie, it doesn't reach me, and it stays there for six months: then I ask again. At the bottom of every page there's the Cookie link: it reopens the choice, and you can change it whenever you like, from here too.

The Meta pixel

If you accept, these pages load the Meta pixel, that is Facebook and Instagram. I use it for two things: to understand whether my campaigns on Instagram and Facebook really bring people here, and to be able to show you my content again on those platforms.

The pixel records the pages you visit, your IP address and your browser details, and saves the _fbp cookie, which lasts 90 days; if you arrive from an ad, _fbc as well. That data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, including outside the European Union: how it does so is set out in its privacy policy. If you decline, the pixel doesn't load at all: your browser doesn't contact Meta.

Players and videos from other platforms

Many pages let you listen to or watch content hosted on SoundCloud, Spotify, YouTube, Mixcloud, Apple Music, Deezer and Traxsource. If you accept, the Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube and Mixcloud players (the mixed set of the Crossover episodes) load straight away, paused, as you scroll down the page. If you decline, in their place there's a box with the ▶: the player arrives when you press it, and only that one. When a player loads, the platform receives your browsing data (such as your IP address) and may use its own cookies, under its own privacy policy:

The boxes shown instead of the players use covers and waveforms saved on this site: until you press them, the platforms receive nothing. Video previews, on the other hand, are images that come from YouTube's servers: to show them, your browser sends it your IP address, without cookies. The social links (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and the others) are plain links: nothing loads until you open them.

When you send an email

If you write to booking@provenzanodj.com, remix@provenzanodj.com or info@provenzanodj.com, your address and what you write are used only to reply to you and handle your request, for example a quote for a gig. They are not given to anyone else and are kept for as long as that request and the legal obligations require.

When you ask me for a gig

The form on the Book a gig page asks for your name, email or phone, date, venue, city, budget and, if you like, a message. When you send it, this data goes to a Google script (Apps Script) in my account, which writes it into a Google Sheet and emails it to me. Google processes it on my behalf under its privacy policy, including outside the European Union with the safeguards required by the GDPR. The form uses no cookies and no third-party «I'm not a robot» checks.

I use it only to reply to you and handle the request, that is for the negotiations before any agreement: that's why no separate consent is needed. I don't give it to anyone else, and I keep it for as long as the request and the legal obligations require. If you prefer, you can write directly to booking@provenzanodj.com.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see the data concerning you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit its use or to object, by writing to info@provenzanodj.com. You can withdraw your consent to the pixel and the players whenever you like from the Cookie link or the buttons above, without changing anything for what you have already seen. If you think your data is not being handled correctly, you can contact the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian data protection authority).
